This website is for the Communications division of the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, specifically for the purpose of recruiting.  Our responsibilities revolve around the 911 system in place in Montgomery County.  We are the primary Public Safety Answering Point for the entire County.  All 911 calls are routed through our center.  We dispatch the Fire Department and Ambulance for the entire county as well as Police Dispatch for 50 of the 62 municipalities.
